Isle of Wight Garlic Festival

15 – 16 August 2026
Arreton valley

Calling all foodies! The Isle of Wight Garlic Festival is back for 2026, complete with star chefs, live music and a smorgasbord of tasty food on offer.

Since 1983, the festival has been held on the third weekend in August in the stunning Arreton valley just outside of the pretty village of Newchurch.

You’ll find all things garlic on site, including ice cream, popcorn, fudge, biscuits, sweetcorn and mushrooms.

But the pungent bulb is not the only item on the menu – there will be live entertainment from a variety of musical acts, arena fun with ‘The Garlic Games’, falconry displays and children’s entertainment and a fun-fair with rides suitable for all the family.

Head to the beer tent to enjoy a cold refreshing ale or, if you prefer a non-alcoholic beverage, check out the tea tent for an unforgettable afternoon tea experience.
